Zus Coffee has long been a favorite among customers, known for its delicious taste and premium quality at an affordable price. The brand has also built a reputation for valuing customer feedback frequently.
This was recently brought to light after a netizen commended the brand for going out of its way to inform customers about price hikes for certain beverages, which took effect on Monday (Feb 3).
M’sian praises local coffee chain over price hike notice
In an X post by @mohdnazif, posted about the email, he shared an email he received from the coffee chain regarding its decision to raise the price of its drinks by RM0.30.

In the email, Zus Coffee explained the reason for the price hike was due to rising costs of essential ingredients, parvticularly coffee beans and cocoa, which were caused by global supply chain disruptions and inflation.
It also added that throughout 2024, the company had been absorbing the cost but is no longer able to do so starting this year.
While most menu items will see a price increase of RM0.30, the price of drinks such as Espresso, Americano, CEO Latté, Coconut Latté, and CEO Coconut Latté will remain unchanged.

Towards the end of the email, Zus Coffee apologised to customers for raising prices and thanked them for their support for the past five years.
In the caption, @MohdNazif commended the coffee chain for giving customers a heads up, writing: “Zus sent an email to explain why prices are increasing by 30 sen. Even came with an apology. Good customer service.”
