In Malaysia, we probably have heard a fair share of stories about the men in blue twisting the law for personal means or getting involved in illegal behavior.
However, there are also good police officers around, just like these two who decided to go the extra mile for an elderly man whose motorbike had run out of fuel.

Policemen come to senior citizen’s rescue
In a heartwarming video shared on the Royal Malaysian Police’s (PDRM) Facebook page last Saturday (May 13), it showed an old man dressed in a pink baju Melayu and songkok walking behind a police officer.
According to the caption, the two officers from the mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) unit named Lance Corporal Mohd Nasrull Muridin and Lance Corporal Lee Ah Sui, had crossed paths with the old man while patrolling in Masai, Johor.
When they found out that his motorbike had no fuel left, one of them gave him a ride in their patrol car to a petrol station while the other pushed his motorbike under the unforgiving sun.

However, the police officers didn’t leave the old man alone at the petrol station and accompanied him until he had filled his motorbike with petrol before departing.
Towards the end of the post, both officers were praised for setting a good example for their colleagues to follow.
