In a video that’s now circulating online, a dedicated family is seen walking into the Al-Sultan Abdullah University of Malaysia Pahang (UMPSA) on registration day.
And it wasn’t just a walk in the park – they battled the blazing sun.
Observers initially thought the family’s car might have broken down, given the unusual sight of them walking in such heat.

Despite the glaring sun overhead, it was later revealed that the family from Sarawak undertook the journey on foot to UMPSA after traveling by bus to Pahang upon their arrival in the Peninsula.

The university, recognizing the family’s commitment, promptly arranged transportation to assist them with their luggage.
Netizens have since praised the family’s dedication, highlighting the lengths parents go to for their children’s education.
One user shared their own experience, commenting, “I once sent my younger sibling to school, even renting an Axia car back then. I was afraid my sibling would feel embarrassed in front of friends if they saw me in an old beat-up Wira. I’ve played the role of both mom and dad, looking after my sibling from childhood till they grew up.”

Another person recalled their own journey. While some may have seen their situation as pitiable, they weren’t sad. Instead, their experiences only deepened their love and appreciation for their father.
