Recently, an X user posted a video of a kind Abang Bomba trying to save a cat that had fallen into a drain.
However, the situation turned amusing as the cat sprinted off, with him following and chasing after it.
Cat flees from Abang Bomba’s drain rescue
Shared by @mynewshub, Abang Bomba is seen carefully going down into the drain with the help of fellow firefighters, holding a blue bag.
In a short 16-second video, as he approaches to rescue the cat slowly from behind, it suddenly sprints alongside the drain.
In his attempt to catch it, Abang Bomba also starts running behind the cat in the drain.
The way he chases after the cat gives the impression of running on water, and some commenters even likened it to a scene from the Naruto anime series.
“Abang Bomba runs on water like Naruto.” they captioned it while also thanking him in the post.
This video has garnered over 157.5K views as of the time of writing, and netizens simply can’t get over the hilarity.
Netizens couldn’t hold back their laughter
Netizens burst into laughter witnessing Abang Bomba’s comical sprint while chasing the mischievous cat.

“The legend says the firefighter is still chasing that cat in the drain until today.”
One of the X users even suggested a way to capture the cat easily by proposing to offer wet food to the cat.
“Wrong approach, Mr. Firefighter! Next time, to tackle it, bring some wet food.”
