A motorcyclist has been arrested after allegedly vandalising a car at the LEKAS Highway toll plaza in a road rage incident that was caught on dashcam.
In a 1-minute-26-second video circulating online, the motorcyclist was seen shouting angrily at a Proton Saga driver while at the toll booth.
The situation quickly escalated, with the rider repeatedly slapping the car’s side mirror and kicking the vehicle multiple times.

Even after the car completed its toll payment and drove off, the motorcyclist continued to follow closely behind, tailgating and at one point riding alongside the vehicle.
Dashcam captures shocked reactions
According to Oriental Daily, the entire incident was recorded by a vehicle behind them. Two women inside the car, believed to be Chinese nationals, were heard expressing shock, describing the rider’s behaviour as “childish”.
Following the incident, a man believed to be the motorcyclist uploaded a separate video explaining his side of the story.
He claimed he was travelling at around 90km/h when the car, which was in the right lane, suddenly switched into the middle lane, nearly colliding with him.

The alleged near-miss is believed to have triggered his anger, leading to the aggressive behaviour seen in the viral clip.
Police confirm arrest
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said in a statement on April 27 that the incident is believed to have taken place at around 4pm on Apr 26.
Police received a report from a 65-year-old local man, an e-hailing driver, whose car sustained damage to the front and left side.
Following investigations, authorities arrested a 24-year-old local man working in the private sector in the Kajang area to assist with the case.
The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief, which carries a penalty of between one and five years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.
