A Malaysian model has raised concerns after receiving RM50 daily from an unknown man, saying what initially seemed like unexpected good fortune soon turned into a worrying situation.
According to mStar, the money was transferred to her e-wallet account by someone she did not recognise. The situation escalated when the man later contacted her through direct messages on social media.
I’m worried something bad might happen. I’m trying to think positively, but he seems very persistent,” she said.
Asked for address to send ring and flowers
The model shared screenshots of their conversation, showing the man asking for her home address so he could send her a gift.
“I have something to give you. Can I get your address to post it? It’s flowers and a ring,” he wrote.
When she asked if he was the same person sending the money, the man admitted he was doing it out of admiration.
“I’m sincere because I’m your fan. If you’re stressed after work, you can use it to buy something sweet,” he replied.
Despite this, the woman asked him to stop sending money and revealed that she is already engaged in hopes of putting an end to the interaction.
Man insists on marriage despite rejection
However, the man continued to message her, expressing his desire to marry her and claiming he believed they were meant to be together.
I actually like you. If you’re still single, I intend to make you my wife. I pray every day that you notice me.”
He even asked for photos of her engagement and said he would wait if her current relationship did not work out.
In another message, he told her that if she wanted him to stop contacting her, she should “pray to God to take away his feelings” for her.
Feeling increasingly uneasy, the model eventually blocked his number. However, she claimed the man continued trying to reach her by leaving comments on her social media posts.
