Debt can be a heavy burden, especially when it starts to spiral out of control.
An anonymous post on the X platform, shared by @meinmokhtar, has caught the attention of many netizens, as a man shares his struggles with significant debts totaling over RM341,000, while also facing the challenge of keeping this secret from his wife.
The anonymous individual reveals that his debt has become overwhelming.
He currently owes RM85,000 and RM76,000 on two separate bank loans, both of which have already entered legal status.
On top of that, he has accumulated RM25,000 in credit card debt across three cards, and RM150,000 owed to a credit company, which has been reported to CTOS.
His monthly salary is RM5,500 gross (RM4,800 net), but despite earning a decent income, the debts continue to mount.
The most concerning part of the post is that his wife is unaware of the financial situation.
In his post, the man asks for advice on what to do.
He’s clearly feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of the problem and is unsure about whether he should come clean to his wife, who is oblivious to the situation.
