Residents at an apartment complex in Kepong are at their wits’ end after a man wouldn’t stop discarding his excrement from the window of his unit.
As such, the back alley has been littered with the man’s poop, causing a stench to permeate the area and pose a severe hygiene issue.

According to residents living at Block E of the apartment complex, they told Sin Chew Daily that they have witnessed the man throw his poop from the first floor almost daily.
They also added that unsuspecting vehicles and pedestrians often soil themselves after stepping on the poop, filling the area with a foul odour.
Another resident from Block B revealed that he had seen the man wrap his excrement with newspaper before throwing it out at least once or twice a day.
He added that residents have sought help from the Residents’ Association after enduring a year of the man’s disgusting habit but to no avail.
Aside from tormenting residents with his poop-throwing antics, the man is also said to often make loud noises between 3am and 5am, making others unable to have a restful night.
Claimed unit had no water supply
Following numerous complaints from residents, a community activist for the Kepong area named Yu Bao Ping (transliteration) went to confront the man.
When questioned over the matter, the man initially denied throwing anything from his unit and kept reiterating that his home had no water. However, he eventually admitted to the act.
According to the man, his home had no water supply for the past two years and he had to leave his home daily to fetch water and carry it back.
“As such, he resorted to wrapping his excrement in newspaper and throwing it out of the window.
“The man had always thought that the unit upstairs had caused his unit’s pipes to be blocked, but after we inspected his water meter, we found no evidence for this and believe the issue might be caused by old and blocked pipes,” Yu said.
Yu added that a plumber will be brought in for repair works and install new PVC pipes to restore water to the man’s home.
He said that while the man promised not to throw his poop out from the window anymore, he will continue to monitor the situation to ensure the promise was followed through.
We hope the man will keep his word and not discard his excrement everywhere anymore!
