A man was left feeling bewildered after he was made to pay RM10 for a bowl of soup which had no beef in it.
A representative from the stall later stepped forth and clarified that the price was supposed to be much lower and apologised for the error.
‘RM10 plain beef soup is too much!’
In a Threads post, the OP posted video of him stirring through a bowl of plain beef soup he had ordered, which had no meat in it and only came with chillis and spring onions.

As seen from the bill, he was charged RM10 for the soup, which led him to be dissatisfied and calling the price as “too much”.
However, he noted that the other dishes he ordered were okay and had no issues.
Was supposed to be RM6
Not long after the post went viral, a representative from the restaurant commented on the incident, saying that there was an error in the pricing.
According to her, the soup was only supposed to cost RM6 but it was mistakenly billed as RM10. She also called upon the OP to contact her so that the error could be rectified.

Despite the restaurant’s attempt at correcting the mistake, it triggered a wave of criticism from netizens, who felt that RM6 was still ridiculously expensive.
