M’sian Man Storms Towards Pitch With Iron Rod After Son Gets A Red Card From Referee During Football Match

😐
We all know sports can get heated, but a recent incident at a school football match has taken things to a whole new level.

A viral video on the X app shows a father flipping out over a red card given to his son. And by flipping out, we mean grabbing an iron rod and heading to the field.

“Your son gets a red card, and you grab an iron rod to hit the ref?Malaysian football is struggling enough without this kind of drama. Parents like this are a real problem.

If I were the coach, I’d kick that player out just for the dad’s antics. Such a headache!” tweeted the video poster.

In it, you see the dad, clearly seeing red, storming the field with his metal accessory. Thankfully, Malaysian Volunteer Department (RELA) swooped in and saved the day, confiscating the rod before things got out of hand.

Now, let’s break down the play-by-play: the game was at an unnamed school, and everything was going smoothly until the red card hit.

Dad, not taking the referee’s decision too well, decided to make his feelings known in a very iron-clad way.

The footage has drawn attention to the broader issue of how parental actions can affect young athletes and the sports community.

Many online commentators have expressed their disapproval of the father’s reaction, viewing it as a harmful example for his son and other young players.

Someone else said, “It’s tough when a parent won’t admit their kid’s mistakes.”
