There’s a saying that goes, ‘Crime doesn’t pay’, which is often used to warn us about the consequences that await us if we resort to illegal activities.
A snatch thief unfortunately had to learn this truth the hard way at the cost of his own life after he robbed a woman of her handbag and fled from the scene.

According to a report by FMT, the incident occurred yesterday (Dec 28) at around 1.30pm at in Batu Kawa, Kuching.
Padawan police chief Irwan Hafiz Radzi said the suspect had snatch a handbag from a woman who was riding pillion on a motorcycle along with her husband and child.
After taking the handbag, the suspect attempted to flee but rammed into the metal gate of the Batu Kawa General Operations Force camp.
Medical personnel who later arrived at the scene declared the suspect dead due to severe injuries sustained by the crash, reported China Press.
The suspect was revealed to be a 32-year-old local man.
Police are currently probing the incident under Section 392 of the Penal Code for robbery and Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for death caused by reckless or dangerous driving.
