M’sian man slashed several times with parang at Seremban mall
In the now-widely shared 11-second clip, it began by showing a staff showing off his juggling skills to a colleague inside a shop located within the mall.

However, the jovial atmosphere quickly dissipates when the victim, clad in a t-shirt and jeans, stumbles into the shop as another man in a white t-shirt and cap attacks him mercilessly with a parang multiple times.

Both staff and customers inside the shop fled for their lives as the attack went on, with the victim trying to protect himself with his arms.
His blood was also seen smeared all across the floor, much to the horror of onlookers.
As a result of the attack, the victim sustained injuries to both of his arms, back, and right leg. However, he’s reported to be in a stable condition, according to NST.
Gangsterism & revenge believed to be motive behind attack
Seremban district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din said the attack occurred at 7pm on Monday (Apr 14) when the 40-year-old victim was having a smoke break inside the mall.

He was then taken surprise when a group of men ran up the escalator from the lower floor and pursued after him, with one of them wielding the parang.
Although he was slashed several times, the victim somehow managed to run away, thanks in part to a friend who witnessed the attack and came to his aid, reported Harian Metro.
As for the reasons behind the attack, police believe revenge and gangster activity are involved and the suspect has since been identified.
The case is being probed under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon and those with further information are urged to contact the investigating officer, Inspector Tharvin, at 019-3666048 or report to the nearest police station.
