Today, we reported of a shocking incident that unfolded at a mamak stall in Seremban, where a man was ambushed and killed by a group of unknown men.
Police have since launched an investigation into the incident and revealed startling facts about the victim, including his long history in breaking the law.
Was having dinner with family
According to a statement by Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Ahmad Dzaffir Yussof, he said the 33-year-old victim was having dinner with his family at the mamak stall located at Nusari Biz Sendayan.

When he was about to head back to his vehicle, several cars carrying six masked suspects suddenly appeared and blocked his car off, reported Oriental Daily.
“The suspects then got out of their vehicles and immediately attacked the victim using a handgun and machetes.
“The victim tried to flee towards the road, but the suspects continued chasing him while firing shots and attacking him with machetes, leading to severe injuries,” he said.

Ahmad Dzaffir added that medical personnel from Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital confirmed that the victim had succumbed to his injuries at the scene. An initial examination also found multiple stab and gunshot wounds on his body.

Investigations also found that the victim had a long criminal record, where he was found to have 42 previous offenses, which included robbery, causing injury, and housebreaking.
Police are currently working to track down the suspects and the vehicles used in the shooting while looking into the motive behind the attack.

The case is being probed under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971 for discharging a firearm with intent to cause death or hurt.
Family seen at hospital mortuary
Meanwhile, the victim’s family members were spotted at the Rembau Hospital mortuary, where the autopsy is expected to take place at 2pm today.
However, none of them spoke to the media and one of them became aggressive when reporters began taking photos of them.
