M’sian Man Shares Secret On How He Won 3 Cars In A Month & Frequently Winning In Contests

Over the years, he has won 6 cars, 10 motorcycles, and many other prizes.
Most people join contests hoping to score a small prize — maybe a voucher or a new gadget. But for one Malaysian, winning competitions has practically become a career.

This year alone, 39-year-old former teacher Faiz stunned many when he won three brand-new cars in a single month — with two of them on the very same day.

It felt like a dream. I cried the whole day because I couldn’t believe it. But God is the best giver,” he siad.

According to his interview with Siakap Keli, for him, contests aren’t just about luck. “This is a world full of opportunities. With the right methods, there will always be rewards,” he said.

A record of unbelievable wins

Faiz’s “contest career” started when he was just 18, waiting for his pre-university placement. His first attempt at a DiGi SMS competition bagged him prize money equivalent to 10 months’ salary — making him one of the youngest winners at the time.

Since then, he has built an extraordinary record of wins:

  • Fully sponsored trips abroad to the UK, South Korea, Turkey, Australia, the Philippines, and Singapore
  • VIP concert tickets and meet-and-greet passes for international stars like Justin Bieber and Jennifer Lopez
  • A dream trip to Old Trafford to watch his favourite football club play
  • Tens of thousands of ringgit in cash
  • Countless gadgets, luxury watches, jewellery, and household appliances

Slogans that touch hearts

While luck plays a role, Faiz says his strongest skill lies in slogan-writing contests — which he treats as a form of poetry.

Judges are human too. They get tired. So I always try to craft a slogan that makes them smile. That’s when I know I stand a chance,” he explained.

Using his background in law and psychology, Faiz writes slogans that are not only catchy but also emotionally striking. He now even runs a social media series called “Slogan: Rhetoric or the Secret to Winning Hearts?”, which has attracted a following among contest enthusiasts.

Family, faith & good deeds

Faiz credits his success to two main factors: family support and faith.

When I first started, people doubted whether this could even be a career. But my wife never opposed me. She helped me sort receipts, take photos, and even brainstorm slogans. We worked on them like homework,” he said.

Now, his family is proud of his achievements, and he believes that treating his wife well has brought him continuous good fortune.

He also stresses the importance of prayer and kindness.

Before I write each slogan, I pray. I also try to help others. When you open doors for others, God opens new opportunities for you,” he added.

A Word of Caution

Despite his success, Faiz warned the public to be careful when entering contests. Not every competition is legitimate, and scams are everywhere.

Always make sure it’s a genuine contest, or you risk falling into a trap,” he advised.

From cars to luxury experiences, Faiz has proven that with creativity, faith, and persistence, even something as simple as writing slogans can change your life.
