Oyen’s Bun-Sitting Strategy
In a video that’s gone viral on TikTok, an Oyen was caught in an adorable yet hilarious moment.
The clip, uploaded by TikTok user @cayisdead_, shows the ginger feline sitting obediently next to a man enjoying a bun.
With those pleading eyes and innocent demeanour, Oyen was clearly hoping to score a bite.
Unfortunately for the cat, the man was not having it. Despite Oyen’s relentless silent begging, the man refused to part with even a crumb of his bun.
The Backstory – Oyen’s Naughty Past
Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the TikTok user revealed the real reason behind the man’s refusal to share his food.
Apparently, Oyen isn’t just any stray cat but the air-conditioning shop aunty’s cat next door. The man in the video is one of the staff members at the TikTok user’s café.
“He didn’t want to give the cat any food because he was sulking,” the uploader said.
According to her, the man was still upset about an incident the day before:
“The day before, he wanted to eat nasi lemak. There was a piece of chicken on his plate, but then a customer came. He went to serve the customer, and when he came back… the cat had eaten his chicken!” she said.
Oyen, ever the opportunist, had swooped in and devoured the man’s prized chicken when he wasn’t looking.

The video has racked up over 80,000 views and 90 comments, with netizens thoroughly entertained by the man’s act of petty revenge.
Despite the man’s grudge, it’s safe to say Oyen has no regrets. After all, a piece of chicken is totally worth a cold shoulder, right?
