M’sian Man Loses 3 Fingers While Trying To Fix His Motorbike

Ouch.
Vehicular failure can happen at any moment, and when it does, the first thing one would usually do is to either roll up their sleeves and fix it themselves or send it to the nearest workshop.

A man who attempted to fix his motorbike which broke down halfway found himself losing three of his fingers but was thankfully rushed to the hospital by a group of police officers.

Along the way, the motorbike suddenly broke down, prompting the victim to try fixing it himself. Unfortunately, he reportedly lost three fingers while doing so.

Speaking to the English daily, Nilai police chief Superintendent Abdul Malik Hasim said the victim then contacted his cousin for help in getting him to the hospital but the latter was unable to as his car had engine issues.

The man told them that his cousin had severed three fingers while repairing a motorcycle on the expressway and had to be taken to the hospital.

“The officers then immediately took the victim to the Salam Hospital near Senawang within a span of 20 minutes for further treatment,” said Abdul Malik.

He added that the victim underwent surgery for his severed fingers and was eventually discharged.

Kudos to the police officers for responding quickly and assisting the victim!
