# M’sian Man Leaps From 3rd Floor Of Building To Escape Police Raid, Dies At The Scene

##### A local man tried to evade capture from police following a raid that took place at a residential unit on Jalan Gombak last night (Mar 11).

In the midst of doing so however, he leapt to his death after attempting to avoid arrest by jumping from the third floor, reported [Media Selangor](https://mediaselangor.com/en/2026/03/347433).

In a statement by Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus, he said police carried out the raid at around 9.07pm, adding that the raid was linked to a motorcycle theft case.
