With Chinese New Year slightly more than a week away, malls across the country are gearing up for the festive occasion by adorning the premises with CNY-themed decor and blasting CNY music too.
A man decided to make the most out of the cheery atmosphere while inside the toilet by filming himself dancing to the CNY music being played in the background, making netizens roar with laughter.
M’sian man grooves to CNY music inside toilet
In a brief 19-second video posted by Haris Hamzah on Facebook last Friday (Jan 26), it showed him recording himself inside the toilet of a mall.
With an upbeat CNY tune playing in the background, Haris couldn’t help to start swaying his head and body to the tune.
As the song continued to play, he went even “wilder” with his dance moves, this time flipping his hair to the beat of the music.
In fact, Haris got so engrossed in dancing to the music that he entirely forgot to do what he wanted to do inside the toilet, where he jokingly wrote in the caption: “Didn’t get to poop at all.”
Netizens amused
Haris’ clip quickly went viral, where it amassed 5,000 reactions and over 250,000 views at the time of writing.
One joked that the CNY music had caused Haris to ‘malfunction’, thus the reason for his dance inside the toilet.
Another tagged a friend and said that she wanted to dance along too, to which her friend replied: ‘Come, let’s go dance inside the toilet together.’
Another commented that Haris may have just produced the “best shampoo ad ever”.
