M’sian Man Gets Electrocuted While Working On His House’s Ceiling In Melaka

Firefighters found him unconscious at the scene.
A 52-year-old man lost his life after he got electrocuted while working on the ceiling of his house last Sunday (Nov 16).

According to a report by Sinar Harian, the incident took place at Taman Bukit Larang Indah, Telok Mas in Melaka.

Tried to resuscitate victim

The Malay daily reported that a team of five firefighters and a fire engine from the Padang Temu Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call via MERS 999 at 9pm.

When they arrived, they found the victim lying unconscious on the house’s ceiling and brought him down.

A medical personnel performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the victim in an attempt to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The rescue operation came to a close at 10.03pm and the victim’s body was handed over to police for further action.
