The uncle is known for his regular visits and his habit of bringing friends along, generously treating them to meals. This time, however, it was his turn to be on the receiving end of generosity.
When it came time to settle the bill, which amounted to RM89.10, Abang Sudu had an impromptu idea.
He asked the uncle to check the remaining battery percentage on his phone. The result: 91%.
The final bill: RM8.02
With a grin, Abang Sudu announced that the uncle would receive a discount equivalent to his phone’s battery percentage. The final bill? Just RM8.02.
The uncle was visibly stunned by the unexpected gesture. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he expressed his thanks and promised to bring his friends back to the restaurant, ensuring that the spirit of generosity would continue to flourish.
