Recently, Malaysian monkeys have been making waves in the headlines due to their various antics, such as snatching a Gatorade bottle or running off with a pink bag.
This time around, a group of monkeys have made into social media again, where they were fed oranges by a kindhearted man.
M’sian man feeds oranges to hungry monkeys
In a Tiktok Video uploaded by @alesyalaibouquet, namely Mohd Azmir Bin Abdul Halim, showed the man offering sliced oranges to a monkey who was already finishing another piece of orange.
Upon hearing the interaction (and perhaps the enticing scent of oranges)between the monkey and the OP, a female monkey ran towards him gleefully with its arms outstretched with its clinging on to her in front.
In turn, the man warmly welcomed them and gently coaxed the monkey to approach and accept the oranges.
Drawing closer, the baby monkey skillfully detached itself from its mother’s embrace and joined its mother in accepting the offered oranges.
Seated in a circle, the monkeys contentedly nibbled on their oranges, enjoying a moment of quiet indulgence.
Speaking to WeirdKaya, Mohd Azmir shared that while he wasn’t particularly frightened of the primates, he emphasized the need for caution, noting that anyone in close proximity should be vigilant as they have the potential to cause harm.
There was one that attacked and wounded my mother-in law.
He also added that the primates would occasionally roam around his housing area, and Azmir or his family would often offer them something to eat.

The video amused netizens, with many finding the monkeys’ eager rush towards the man and their peaceful mealtime utterly adorable.
They were equally impressed by the monkeys’ well-behaved and serene demeanour during the meal.
