Bro camped overnight just to clock in at work right after.
The iPhone 17 officially launched in Malaysia today, and as expected, eager fans turned up way before sunrise to get their hands on the latest model.

One Malaysian man from Ampang took it a step further when he showed up at the queue as early as 12.45am, complete with his own foldable healing chair and a jacket to brave the long wait.

10–15 people already queuing before 1am

Speaking exclusively to WeirdKaya, the man shared that even though he arrived before 1am, around 10–15 people were already in line.

However, the store didn’t follow a first-come-first-serve system. Instead, customers were given queue numbers.

To his surprise, despite arriving so early, he ended up with number 150.

The man revealed that he was planning to buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max 1TB for personal use. If that model sold out, he said he would settle for the 512GB version.

He also shared that he wanted to pre-order the phone earlier but didn’t manage to due to certain reasons.

“Need to go work after this”

When asked what he planned to do after finally getting the phone, he laughed and said he had to head straight to work.

The interview with him was conducted at 8.57am, meaning he had already waited more than 8 hours since arriving at the store.
