A young man heroically risked his life to save two rabbits trapped in a cage during a fire at a residence in Kajang Utama.
His brave actions were captured on a viral TikTok video, which has garnered widespread admiration from netizens.
Saving the rabbits from the cage
According to the video, the young man is seen working to free the rabbits from a cage placed by the wall near a drainage ditch, with the fire raging nearby.
Ignoring the danger posed by the growing flames, the man used metal cutters to try and open the cage, determined to rescue the animals.
After successfully cutting a hole beneath the cage and rescuing one of the rabbits, the other rabbit was seen running around the cage, refusing to cooperate with the man.
Luckily, in the end, the man shared a picture showing both rabbits rescued and in a safe condition.
Netizens’ reaction
The video has since spread rapidly across social media, with many praising the man’s selflessness and calling him a hero.
“Thank you kind person, you are a true hero.”
A netizen with ther user name “jxson3636”, who appeared to be the man in the video, also came forward to clarify that the rabbits are all safe.
