A Malaysian man recently gave social media users a good laugh after accidentally placing a food order through a popular delivery app—except that it wasn’t in his own country.
‘Bro, where are you?’
In a a post shared by the delivery rider on Facebook, it showed a screenshot of a food order he had received from a customer.
Apparently, the app had told the rider that the customer’s location was 620km away and that getting the order to him would take more than six hours. It even alerted him that the order would require him to cross borders.

Puzzled by the delivery distance, the rider then receives a messages from the customer, who asked where he was. In response, he replied, “Saya kat belakang ni. Carpark.” (I’m at the back. Carpark.)

When the customer told the rider that his home was located behind JPJ Kuala Kangsar in Perak, this left the rider even more confused as he was at Bishan, Singapore.
According to Google Maps, the journey would take at least a whopping 9 hours and 42 minutes via motorbike.
As the conversation continues, it then dawned on the rider that the customer was actually nowhere near Singapore, prompting him to ask the latter whether he was in Malaysia right now.

He also asked the customer how he was able to order from food from Singapore when his location was in Malaysia but never got a reply.
According to The Independent Singapore, the order was reportedly never made, with some believing the customer had recently visited Singapore and forgot to switch his location back.
Netizens couldn’t stop laughing
Online users had a field day with the incident, laughing at the customer’s misfortune, with one calling it the “most express Grab (delivery).”

Another joked how the popular food delivery service had outsourced work so much that now even the food vendors are “outsourcing” deliveries across borders

When one asked how much was the delivery fee, the rider replied that it was only $5 (approx. RM 16.40).
