As consumers, it’s imperative to check whether a product is fresh and in good condition before heading over the payment counter.
A shopper named Johan Irwan Kamarozaman, recently took to Facebook to commend a 99 Speed Mart employee who took extra effort to ensure that a box of mandarin oranges was in perfect condition before it was sold.

In the post, Johan wrote that the staff asked for his approval to unpack a box of Mandarin oranges he had brought to the payment counter.
To his surprise, he discovered that the staff wanted to meticulously inspected it for any signs of spoilage.
To ensure that no spoilage occurred, the staff took it upon herself to check every single Mandarin orange instead of simply rummaging through it.
During her inspection, she found one spoilt orange and promptly replaced it with a fresh one. After ensuring that there were no more spoilt oranges, only then did the staff process Johan’s payment.

The staff’s level of dedication and attention to her job clearly impressed Johan, who had nothing but praise for her exceptional customer service.

Additinally, Johan also gave a helpful tip to those looking to buy Mandarin oranges, telling them to check the bottom of the box for any brown stains.
He explained that if such stains were present, it was a likely indicator of a rotten fruit lurking within the box.
