Dior, a Malaysian influencer and singer, has taken to social media to announce that she is severing ties with her brother, Ansen, due to his repeated involvement in scams, thefts, and gambling.
Addicted to gambling since he was young
She expressed her frustration and heartbreak over the situation, detailing the extent of her brother’s actions in an emotional post.
Dior revealed that Ansen’s gambling addiction started when she was in her teens.
Over the years, his debts escalated from a few thousand to hundreds of thousands of ringgit, with family members constantly bailing him out in hopes that he would change.
However, Ansen continued to exploit their trust despite their efforts, borrowing money under false pretenses.
Fabricated stories to lend money
In the post, Dior claimed that Ansen would often fabricate stories, such as needing money for a sibling’s medical fees or her own education expenses, to gain sympathy and financial aid from friends and followers.
When he borrowed money from others, he told them that his younger sister needed to pay for her education but didn’t have the money for tuition fees. He also told people that we were in the hospital.
Dior also described how Ansen’s actions endangered their family.

He borrowed from loan sharks, which once led to their sister almost being kidnapped outside her school.
Stole valuable items for gambling money
He stole valuable items like gold chains from their father and pawned them for gambling money.
He stole my dad’s and sister’s gold chains and pawned them for gambling. I still remember the day I received the news.
My dad and I were filming a show, and the host asked him, “What’s your favorite gift you’ve received?” My dad replied, “The gold chain I got on Father’s Day.” That very same day, he pawned it.
The influencer shared multiple instances where Ansen scammed friends, relatives, and even her own followers, including an investment scam involving a fake “durian business.”
She mentioned how he had taken money from his girlfriend’s family, relatives, and even the staff of her sister’s business.
One particularly heartbreaking instance involved Ansen stealing a precious memento left behind by their late mother.
Urges followers to be cautious
At the end of the lengthy post, Dior also urged her followers to be cautious, stating that her brother might target them for money, leveraging her name and reputation.
She emphasized her responsibility to protect her fans and loved ones from being further victimized.
Ending the post, Dior said her family and extended relatives have made the painful decision to cut ties with Ansen.
She expressed her exhaustion and numbness over the situation, mentioning that despite the public shame, her priority is ensuring everyone’s safety.
I’m not afraid of embarrassment; I’m more concerned about the safety of our family and everyone else.
