Famed social media influencer Yew Boon Xiang, who’s popularly known as Boss Mario to his followers, has been reported missing.
According to MalaysiaGazette, police received a report about his disappearance on Friday (Jan 2).
Boss Mario’s disappearance reported by brother
Melaka Tengah district police chief assistant commissioner Christopher Patit said the police report was lodged by Boss Mario’s brother at the Batang Tiga Police Station at 9:35pm after the latter tried calling him upon arriving at his phone shop located in Melaka Central at 8am.
“After several unsuccessful attempts to reach his brother by phone, which had never happened before, he went to Boss Mario’s house in Taman Pertam Jaya, Semabok, to check on his well-being.
“However, his brother wasn’t at home and a check on the CCTV recording found that he left the house in his Honda City car at 3am,” he said when contacted today.
Patit added Boss Mario’s brother later found the car in a locked condition at Pantai Klebang at 6pm.
Those with any information regarding the case are urged to report it to the nearby police station.
Meanwhile, a Facebook post pleading for help to track down Boss Mario has also gone viral, where it has garnered over 1,300 reactions so far.
