A Malaysian delivery rider was left stranded and in tears after his motorcycle chain suddenly snapped while he was travelling from Ampang to Bangi to deliver a parcel.
The heartwarming story was shared by a woman named Zohrahmi on Threads, where she revealed the rider had messaged her to apologise for the delayed delivery due to his motorcycle problem.
At first, she thought the message was sent to the wrong person before realising the parcel was actually a bouquet sent by her son.
Rider only earned RM26 that day
Later, her son informed her that the rider said it was his first job of the day and he had only earned RM26.

Feeling sorry for him, Zohrahmi later went to meet the rider in person and handed him some money to repair his motorcycle.
However, the rider initially refused to accept it, prompting Zohrahmi to jokingly insist that if he did not take the money, she would not accept the bouquet either.
The rider eventually accepted the help after that.
Quietly wiping away tears
As she was leaving, Zohrahmi suddenly decided to turn back and check on him again.
She then found the rider squatting beside his motorcycle by the roadside, repairing it while quietly wiping away tears.

The woman was also shocked to learn that the rider had travelled all the way from Ampang to Bangi for the delivery.
She later encouraged him and told him not to lose hope over the unexpected situation.
Rider later thanked family in emotional voice message
According to Zohrahmi, the rider later sent a voice message to her son thanking them for their kindness, with his voice sounding emotional and choked up.
She added that the money given was at least enough to help him repair his motorcycle the next day.
Even more touching was that the rider later offered to return the remaining balance, but Zohrahmi told him to keep the money instead.
The story touched many Malaysians online, who praised both Zohrahmi and her son for their kindness and empathy towards the struggling rider.
