College is largely considered to be the best time of one’s life as they have absolute freedom to do what they want such as hanging out till the wee hours of the morning or going to the club.
A Malaysian student recently took to social media to rant about how she was mocked by her friends over her refusal to go clubbing while studying in college, with them even saying that she was “wasting her college experience.”

Taking to Dcard to vent her frustration, the female student wrote that her college friends invited her to go clubbing but she politely declined.
They then laughed at me and called me a ‘noob’ while saying, ‘How can a college student be this boring? Why not just quit your studies and go home?’
“They also called me a ‘goody-two-shoes’ and said that I don’t know how to enjoy life to the fullest,” she wrote.
Needless to say, this made the OP extremely upset as she preferred spending her time doing other things except clubbing.
“I just like staying at home to binge-watch shows, cook, and sleep. How is that boring? Does drinking till you’re half-dead and waking up with a killer headache count as “living life”?
“Every time I see them staggering back to the apartment at dawn like zombies, I honestly don’t get what’s so enviable about that kind of life,” she said.
The OP that her friends allegedly suggested that she drop out from college if she doesn’t go clubbing, one which left her bewildered.
