A woman dining at a well-known restaurant chain at TRX Exchange recently had an unpleasant surprise upon realizing a huge lipstick stain on her boyfriend tissue, which was provided by the restaurant.
The incident was shared on Xiaohongshu, where the woman detailed her entire experience and the aftermath.
Tissue appeared brand new
She recounted how, after finishing their meal, her boyfriend pick up the provided tissue, which seems brand new and almost used it.
“At the last second, I realized there was a big lipstick stain on it and stopped him just in time from using it,” she wrote in her post.
She then told the manager and they only receive a new tissue after the complain.
Should have taken it seriously
In an interview with WeirdKaya, the woman revealed that the incident occurred last Sunday (7 July). She expressed dissatisfaction with the manager’s response to the situation.
“After we told them about the issue, the manager just appeared surprised and changed the tissue for us without any compensation,” she said.
She emphasized that what bothered her most was the serious hygiene issue and the casual manner in which the staff handled it.
“I do not expect any big compensation, but I wanted to see them take it seriously,” she added.
