However, one customer’s recent trip to the Setia Alam night market took a disappointing turn.
A Malaysian man shared his frustrating experience after purchasing a drink for RM4, only to find it filled with ice and lasting just three sips.
Taking to his Facebook account, Reyza Arz posted a picture of the drink along with a caption expressing his disappointment.
He explained that the cup was packed with so much ice that after just three sips, the drink was gone.
In a humorous twist, Reyza wrote, “May the vendors always be haunted by Abuya at night,” clearly expressing his dissatisfaction with a witty jab.
The photo he shared made it clear— the cup was indeed filled to the brim with ice, leaving little room for the actual drink.
Since posting, Reyza’s experience has gone viral, garnering over 1.7k reactions and hundreds of comments from amused netizens.
One person joked, suggesting he sell the ice back to the vendor:
“Sell the ice back to them. Usually, one cup goes for 50 cents.”
Another netizen humorously remarked:
“You should ask for less ice. But then they won’t give you any ice at all, and without ice, the price will be RM8!”
Yet another joked about waiting for the ice to melt:
“He’s probably telling you to drink it tomorrow, once the ice has melted.”
