A newly-wed Malaysian couple ended up with an unforgettable first day of marriage when their modified bridal car got stuck on a road hump.
The incident forced both bride and groom, dressed in full white traditional wedding outfits, to squat by the roadside and fix the vehicle together.
The hilarious yet heartwarming scene quickly went viral, leaving netizens laughing at the adorable “first challenge” the couple faced right after tying the knot.
A wedding day challenge no one saw coming
Weddings often come with their own set of unexpected problems — last-minute venue issues, makeup artists running late, or missing decorations.
But in this couple’s case, the trouble came in the form of a road hump.
The bride, Ainies, shared the incident on TikTok, showing how their modified Proton Persona, which had a noticeably lowered chassis, became stuck halfway over a hump, leaving the car unable to move forward or backward.

Dressed head-to-toe in elegant white traditional Malay wedding attire, Ainies and her husband could be seen crouching beside the car with tools in hand, attempting to adjust the height of the chassis to free the vehicle.
Bride: “I’m still this car’s No. 1 fan”
Despite the embarrassing situation, Ainies showed remarkable calmness and even joked about it in her caption.
I’m already used to this kind of thing. I’ve even had the side skirt fall off in the middle of the road before. No matter what, I’m still this car’s number one fan,” she wrote.
She explained that the incident happened after their wedding ceremony, when the couple got a little lost while driving. They slowed down near the hump — and suddenly felt the car getting stuck.
Instead of panicking, Ainies stayed positive, taking out her phone to record the moment and laugh it off.
