PETALING JAYA – The recent Anime Fest at Paradigm Mall over the weekend has seen many stunning and creative cosplays of popular anime characters, but none attracted more attention than this cosplayer.
In a video posted on the subreddit r/Bolehland, it showed a man fully dressed in traditional Saudi Arabian clothing complete with a red and white checkered headscarf, an aghal (black cord) and a pair of black sunglasses.
He was also seen holding up a piece of paper with “Genshin [Impact] agenda Yahudi. HARAM!” (Genshin Impact is a Jewish agenda. ILLEGAL!) written on it.

‘Absolutely haram’
Fortunately, many Malaysians found the cosplayer’s costume hilarious and played along with the joke as well.
They also praised him for his immensely on-point depiction of a Saudi Arabian man.
One even joked that the cosplayer was holding a sign “exposing” a nuclear code that could nuke a country into oblivion.
