A local Pokémon card collector who previously made headlines for selling his full Pokémon card collection for RM1.87 million is once again attracting attention online after announcing plans to sell part of his latest collection for a staggering RM4,444,444.
The collector, identified as Damiral Imran from Penang, shared on Facebook that the cards were collected over the past six months and are estimated to be worth between RM4.68 million and RM4.75 million.
However, he said he is willing to let the collection go for RM4.44 million instead.

Willing to trade for Mercedes-AMG GTS, RM3.8mil cash
Besides accepting direct cash payments, Damiral also revealed that he is open to barter deals for the collection.
According to his post, interested buyers may exchange a Mercedes-AMG GT S along with RM3.8 million in cash for the Pokémon cards.
To further encourage a successful sale, he is also offering an RM80,000 commission to anyone who manages to help sell the collection.
Damiral added that face-to-face transactions for the cards will only be conducted within the Kuala Lumpur area.

Previously sold full Pokémon collection for RM1.87mil
This is not the first time the collector has gone viral for his high-value Pokémon card deals.
Last year, Damiral successfully sold his complete Pokémon card collection worth over RM2 million for RM1.87 million in less than 10 days.
At the time, he had also accepted alternative payment methods, including a proposal involving a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S plus RM1 million cash.
However, the collection was eventually purchased outright through a cash transaction.
Pokémon cards becoming serious investment assets
As the global collectibles market continues to grow, Pokémon cards have increasingly become viewed as alternative investment assets, with some rare cards now valued similarly to luxury watches, sports cars, and other high-end collectibles.

Earlier this year, famous wrestler and internet personality Logan Paul reportedly sold his rare “Pikachu Illustrator” Pokémon card for US$16.49 million (approximately RM64.49 million), setting the record for the world’s most expensive trading card sale.
Logan Paul had originally purchased the card in 2021 for US$5.275 million (around RM20.63 million), which at the time also earned a Guinness World Record for the most expensive private Pokémon card purchase.
He later customised the collectible with a diamond necklace and special card case, even wearing it during WrestleMania 38.
