Woman finds out ex-boss told interviewers not to let her pass
According to an anonymous posting submitted to Malaysian Pay Gap on Instagram, the OP wrote that a friend recently went for several job interviews after resigning from her previous job but was rejected by every company she applied for.
To her shock, she later found out from one of the interviewers that her ex-boss had actually called and told them not to let her pass the job interview.

The OP then asked netizens what should her friend do and who to report the incident to for her ex-boss’ seemingly vengeful move.

In the comment section, netizens had differing takes on the incident and offered various solutions for the OP’s friend.
Some slammed her ex-boss for being bitter over her moving on to the another workplace and advised her to lodge a report with the Labour Department.

On the other hand, some believed the OP’s friend worked at a niche industry and had made several key mistakes such as resigning before securing a new job and listing her ex-boss as her reference.
