A video capturing a heartwarming interaction between two races at a Malay couple’s wedding has gone viral.
Posted on TikTok by user dik_wan96, the 1-minute and 29-second clip shows three Chinese women presenting a wedding gift to the bride.

Receives a gold chain
Upon revealing the gift on the spot, the bride found out that it was a gold chain.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, she was seen tearing up when she was opening the gift.
In an effort to preserve her makeup, she briefly tilted her head upwards to stop the tears from falling.
The gesture was met with cheers and applause from the wedding attendees.

“Best Kan ada BFF Chinese”
The TikTok user, @dik_wan96, humorously captioned the video, “Best kan ada BFF Chinese 🤭” (It’s great to have Chinese best friends).
The accompanying music, “perayaan mati rasa” by 𝘿𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙑𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙨, added a sentimental touch to the scene.
Many netizens commented on how they wish they had friends like this as well, and other sharing similar experiences.
“Weii, I also want a Chinese best friend 😭”

“Yes, that’s true. Chinese or Indian best friends are really like this. My child was sick, and they helped pay the bill because they knew I was struggling at that time because they saw me working non-stop.”

“This is what we want, One Malaysia, One Nation. Don’t let politicians ruin our harmony. Say NO to racism.”
