During the festive season, receiving Angpau money is a customary tradition cherished by many. Whether it’s from family members or employers, the amount often remains fixed.
However, employees at a cabinet company in Kuala Lumpur experienced a refreshing twist this year as their boss introduced an unconventional way of distributing Angpau.
RM6K on a large dining table
In a recent post on the popular social media platform Xiao Hong Shu by MNJ Kitchen专业橱柜, it was revealed that the employees of this company had the opportunity to earn extra cash on top of their regular Angpau.
The mastermind behind this innovative approach? None other than their generous boss, Michael.
The setup was simple yet exhilarating. Michael arranged banknotes totalling more than RM6,000 on a large, round dining table.
Bonding over blindfolded money grab
But here’s the catch: employees had to “scoop” the money blindfolded into a big bowl.
To add an extra layer of challenge, they were also required to make a few spins beforehand, inducing a slight dizziness to make the task more challenging.
As the saying goes, there’s no such thing as easy money!
With only one chance to scoop, each participant approached the table with caution and precision. Despite the blindfold and dizziness, every player managed to secure themselves a substantial sum, as evidenced by a video shared online.
What made this even more exciting was the revelation that the money they scooped was not part of their regular Angpau—it was an additional bonus from their thoughtful boss!
Oh wow, that’s a lot! What do you think of this generous boss? Let us know in the comments!
