For any restaurant owner, having to throw away tons of uneaten food not only contributes to pollution, but also causes precious resources to be wasted away.
An employer at a restaurant decided that enough was enough and took his anger out on several trays of food by dumping them to the ground after his instructions to not overprepare food went unheeded.
M’sian boss gets mad and dumps food to the ground
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @ConfessionLocal, it showed the boss of an undisclosed restaurant recording the amount of food that was prepared by the staff.

As can be seen from the clip, trays brimming with food were laid out across the long, metal table and judging from the boss’ tone of voice, he was clearly unhappy with what he saw.
In the background, he could be heard saying, ‘Look at this. How many times have I said not to prepare so much food?’ before calling a staff to come over.
While talking to the staff, the boss totally lost his cool and proceeded to dump several trays of food onto the ground before yelling about the high costs he had to bear over the food wastage.

Justified rage or pure toxicity?
The clip, which has since garnered close to 3 million views so far, saw mixed reactions from netizens who were torn over what to make of the boss’ explosive behavior.
‘I understand and agree with the boss but he didn’t need to dump the food like that.’

‘Congratulations. The most toxic boss 2024. If you’re so triggered by this, might as well cook the food yourself. What’s the point of hiring those workers?’

On the other hand, some felt that the staff had themselves to blame as they failed to follow their boss’ instructions.
‘The boss must have lectured them before but the staff still did the same thing. So now he’s reached his limit and blew up.’

‘This is what happens when the staff is too dumb and says the boss is toxic. Can’t even follow simple instructions and only trouble others.’

1. Jangan masak banyak-banyak, makanan sampai pukul 10-11 je, lepas tu masak baru.
2. Dah cakap BANYAK KALI apa yang tak faham. Maksudnya staff yang tak faham arahan.
3. Maknan nanti tak sedap sebab sejuk, roti keras, yang kne jawab tokey, staff tak… pic.twitter.com/W2wC6YJot8
