M’sian Baker Praised For Refusing RM100 Tip From Customer She Knew Wasn’t Well To Do

When a generous customer meets a gracious seller.
Giving tips is often seen as an appreciative gesture by kind customers towards staff members who have provided them with excellent service.

A woman who sells homemade cakes experienced the kindness of a customer who wanted to give her a RM100 tip upon delivery to her home.

But the woman, understanding that the customer wasn’t rich and knowing how hard it is to earn money, didn’t take the tip.

“After delivering to her home and receiving the due payment, she handed me RM100 as I was about to leave, saying it was for rezeki. I was completely stunned at the moment, hardly believing that someone would give RM100 as a tip.”

She shared this story on Facebook, saying how surprised she was when the customer wanted to give her the money as a gift.

She had delivered two cakes worth RM165 to his house before this kind gesture.

Despite her surprise, she felt that the support of her customers was more important than the tip.

“Tips or no tips, as long as everyone supports me, I am fully satisfied.”

Many people online praised the woman for her good deed and both of them for understanding each other’s situation.
