# Monkey Spotted ‘Pole-Dancing’ On Streetlamp In M’sia, Leaves Netizens In Stitches

##### Malaysians were left both amused and confused after spotting an unusual ‘performer’ swinging around on a streetlight in broad daylight.

A video, shared by user @[haizal.fikri](https://www.tiktok.com/@haizal.fikri/video/7470522480441003282) and now viral on TikTok, shows a monkey clinging to the top of a tall lamp post, skillfully climbing up as drivers stuck in traffic watched in disbelief.

The sight of the unexpected 'pole dancer' immediately sent netizens into a frenzy of laughter.

While it’s unclear how the monkey got up there or why it decided to scale the pole, many agreed it was peak ‘Malaysia core’ — the kind of weird, funny scene that could only happen here.
