‘What do you want me to do?’

Horrified by the discovery, the woman’s ex-husband walked over to the stall and confronted the staff over the incident.

Instead of apologising, the female staff allegedly gave the following reply:

What do you want me to do about it?

Needless to say, the reply didn’t sit well with the woman, who wrote in the post’s caption that she was “quite pissed off with the attitude” shown by the staff.

Hawker explains how metal wire appeared

Following the online uproar which occurred after the incident went viral, Shin Min Daily News paid the stall a visit to uncover how the metal wire was found inside the bee hoon.

During the interview, the staff explained that they had planned to give the woman a refund and further improve their kitchen practices.

As for the metal wire, the staff revealed that she usually uses a metallic scrub to clean the dishes after preparing the food.

Despite the stall’s offer to give a refund, the woman told Shin Min Daily News that she wasn’t interested in the money and is still upset with the staff’s response to the matter.
