Johor Stall Gets Trashed As Men Throw Tables & Chairs At Each Other Over Loud Motorcycle Noise

Nine suspects aged between 18 and 35 were arrested.
What could have been a peaceful night while having a meal at a food stall in Rengit, Johor quickly descended into chaos after a group of men violently clashed with each other.

The clip of the incident has since found its way to social media, which also led to several of the men getting arrested in the end.

Tables, chairs become ‘victims’ in mayhem

In the one-minute 40-second clip, it began with a man clad in a red t-shirt overturning a motorcycle that belonged to one of the stall customers, prompting the latter to jump to his feet and angrily confront the man.

As tensions continued to rise, it suddenly went up another notch when the camera panned to the customer and the red shirt man pushing and shoving each other.

This then led to an all out brawl, with the red shirt man’s gang surrounding the customer and raining down punches on him.

Some also picked up chairs and tables to hurl towards the customer, adding on to the unfolding chaos and causing other patrons to flee.

In the background, the person filming the brawl is heard yelling “Luar!” multiple times in a failed attempt to tell the men to take their fight outside of the stall.

Fight triggered by loud motorcycle noise

When contacted by NST, Bahu Pahat district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the brawl was caused by a motorcycle’s loud engine.

“Preliminary investigations found that the fight was triggered after one of the suspects allegedly revved his motorcycle loudly, disturbing diners and nearby residents.

“However, no injuries were reported although several of the stall’s items were damaged,” he said.
