A temporary disruption on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line this morning caused delays for commuters during peak hours following an incident involving an individual entering the train track area at the Subang Alam station.
In a statement released by Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd, the operator confirmed that train services resumed fully at 10.22am following a suspension that began around 8.02am due to a reported case of unauthorised intrusion to the track area.
Individual involved rescued
According to Rapid Rail, emergency response teams, including personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), were immediately dispatched to the scene after being alerted by station staff.
The individual was successfully rescued but sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) in Klang for further medical treatment.
Conducting detailed investigation
Rapid Rail stated that it is fully cooperating with the police, who are currently conducting a detailed investigation into the incident.
