Taking violence into one’s own hands is not a solution to a problem, it can even lead to dangerous consequences.
Recently, a man died after being punched by a foreigner due to a misunderstanding that arose from bumping into each other.

Reported by New Straits Times, this incident happened last Friday (Mar 22) at at an entertainment center in Sea Park, Petaling Jaya.
Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaafar@Ismail, the Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, explained that the foreigner, a man in his 40s, reportedly bumped into the victim, also in his 40s.
This eventually led to a quarrel erupting between them. He further stated that the suspect, feeling displeased after the victim lightly kicked him, promptly threw a punch.
“As a result of the punch, the victim fell and suffered severe head injuries before it was confirmed he had died.” Shahrulnizam said.
The police have apprehended the suspect to assist in their investigations, and he has been remanded until March 29th.
The police also disclosed that the victim’s friend, who was involved in the altercation, was also detained to help in the investigation.
This case is now currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
A witness shared insights into the incident
One of our readers, who happened to be at the bar at the time, mentioned that the victim and the suspect had an altercation outside the bar before the punching incident occurred.
“Towards the end of the night, the foreigner suddenly ran up to both the victim and punched him out of nowhere before fleeing the scene.” he told us.
