A man from Ireland was forced to update his LinkedIn bio after being wrongly accused of being the guy who cheated on his partner at a Coldplay concert.
Same name, wrong guy
ICYMI, a video went viral recently showing a man kissing another woman during a Coldplay concert, allegedly cheating on his partner.
The clip quickly made rounds online, with people trying to identify the man.
Unfortunately, netizens mistook him for Andy Byron, the CEO of a US-based software company called Astronomer.
Why? Because the actual concert guy shares the exact same name.

LinkedIn chaos
As a result, innocent Andy Byron, a creative director living in Dublin, Ireland suddenly found himself bombarded with angry DMs on LinkedIn.
He said the backlash was so intense that he had to shut down notifications completely.
People kept messaging me saying things like, ‘You got caught!’ and expressing how disappointed they were in me. But they got the wrong person,” he shared in an interview.
To stop the confusion, he updated his LinkedIn headline to:
“NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!!”
From CEO to internet punchline
In fact, Byron says he’s been married for 11 years and jokes that the incident has at least given him an excuse to buy flowers for his wife.
I live with my wife (who I’m not cheating on) and our two daughters,” he wrote in a now-viral LinkedIn post.
