Malaysia’s national railway operator couldn’t resist jumping on the viral Coldplay “cheating cam” trend that’s taken the Internet by storm recently.
‘Avoid inappropriate behavior in the train
In a cheeky Facebook post, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) shared an illustration of the now-infamous couple cuddling inside a train carriage, clearly riffing off the viral Coldplay concert moment where the jumbotron caught a CEO having an affair with the head of HR.
Here’s how the caption went:
Please avoid inappropriate behaviour in the train. Remember, your every move might just be caught on camera.
“It’s enough to show your partner how romantic you are — no need to put on a public display. Yes, that includes inside the train.”
Beyond the humour, KTMB also slid in a serious reminder: under Section 200 of the Land Public Transport Act 2010, inappropriate conduct on board public transport can result in a fine of up to RM1,000, imprisonment of up to 3 months, or both.
Netizens’ reaction
The post quickly gained traction, with netizens flooding the comment section with laughter.
‘Wow, the meme even reached here.’

‘Wow nice one, Admin. ‘Ride the Train’…oops, I mean…’Ride The Trend!’

‘Admin’s not missing out. Good message, admin.’
