Pernod Ricard Malaysia has introduced the newest addition to its gin portfolio, Malfy Gin, which is set to bring the citrusy flavours and sun-soaked sophistication of the Amalfi Coast to Malaysian shores.
Malfy Gin Con Limone and Malfy Gin Rosa are the two variants that will be available in bars and retail outlets nationwide.
Malfy is a range of super-premium gins distilled by the Vergnano family in the Italian region of Moncalieri, and already present in several international markets such as the United States, United Kingdom and Germany.
Malfy was acquired by The Gin Hub, Pernod Ricard’s stand-alone brand company that focuses on the global development of its portfolio of International Premium Gin brands, back in 2019 as part of Pernod Ricard’s efforts in expanding its Super-Premium Gin portfolio.
Inspired by the Amalfi Coast, Malfy Gin continues to use traditional Italian distilling methods, which are said to date back to the 11th Century, and local botanicals, married with Monviso Water from Crissolo Spring, the highest and purest spring water in Italy.
Some of the genuine Italian ingredients used include Italian juniper, coastal-grown Italian lemons and Sicilian blood oranges and pink grapefruits.
The full range includes 4 different variants: Originale, Con Arancia, on top of Con Limone and Gin Rosa, which will be available in Malaysia.
The official launch of Malfy Gin took place at Crystal in The St Regis Kuala Lumpur, where the poolside embodied an Italian summer with guests sipping on specially curated Malfy cocktails – the Signore Clover Club and Sgroppino.
As part of the launch, guests were also invited to try a hand at painting their own Malfy ceramic coasters and building their own Malfy Gin & Tonic at the cart.

Flavour: Rich, fresh citrus, grapefruit, with long juniper finish
