It can be extremely annoying to have a boss who texts and calls incessantly even when you are on leave or enjoying your off day. So, imagine your boss texting you at midnight or the wee hours of the morning – would you choose to respond immediately or reply the next working day?
Recently, a Facebook page named Boom Go Employee shared a Whatsapp conversation screenshot submitted by a netizen. The screenshot shows a company group chat where the boss texts at 2 am and naturally, no one responds.
Take a look at the time. It’s 2:27 in the morning. Probably the ungodliest hour to discuss work matters, let alone respond to it.Around 4 hours later, the visibly annoyed boss sends two more messages saying:
“Team, please respond.”
“Don’t make me feel like I’m talking to the wall.”
Two hours later, the employees start to reply with the classic one-liner: “Noted.”
