For F&B business owners, finding the right supplier, partner or even the next big business idea can take a lot of time.

Happening from 15 to 17 July 2026, the event will gather more than 520 exhibitors from over 85 countries, with over 13,000 trade attendees expected across three days.

Admission is free with trade registration, but do note that the event is open to trade visitors and industry professionals only.

Three F&B shows with one pass

MIFB 2026 will run alongside two co-located events, namely Malaysia Café Expo (MCE) and MyFoodTech Exhibition (MYFT).

The best part? One free trade registration gives visitors access to all three shows.

Together, the three events cover different parts of the F&B industry. MIFB focuses on food and beverage products, halal certified offerings, as well as fresh, chilled and frozen seafood.

Meanwhile, MCE brings together café and bakery solutions, specialty coffee and equipment, while MYFT focuses on food processing, packaging and automation technology.

So whether you run a restaurant, café, food factory, retail chain or import business, there may be something useful for you to explore on the exhibition floor.

A place to find suppliers, partners and ideas

The scale of MIFB 2026 is not just about numbers. It is also about the kind of connections F&B businesses can make.

A café owner can compare roasters and POS systems, then look for packaging suppliers in another hall. A manufacturer can meet ingredient suppliers in the morning and food processing vendors after lunch.

There will also be dedicated space for Ready-to-Eat, Ready-to-Cook, and Ready-to-Drink products, reflecting the growing demand on Malaysian retail shelves.

Visitors can also explore international pavilions from countries such as China, India, Poland and South Korea without having to leave Kuala Lumpur.

MIFB marks 25 years in the industry

This year’s event also marks another milestone for MIFB as a platform with 25 years behind it.

YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, will open the event as Guest of Honour.

He is expected to speak on global supply chain challenges and how the industry can be more prepared for the future, in line with the 2026 theme, “Future Ready F&B: Powering the Next Wave.”

Learn from F&B founders and industry players

Besides the exhibition floor, MIFB 2026 will also feature sessions designed to give F&B businesses practical insights.

At the MIFB Knowledge Hub, visitors can attend three days of free sessions built around real issues faced by the industry.

Day One focuses on efficiency, with sessions on how AI and digital tools can help reduce waste and downtime in Malaysian F&B operations.

Tetra Pak will demonstrate how its Factory OS turns machine data into fewer breakdowns and less waste, while StoreHub founder Fong Wai Hong will discuss how businesses can use the data they already collect.

Day Two is all about founders. Hagen Chen of Toast Maker will share his 60 day playbook for building and exporting a brand, while Subway franchisee Winnie Ng and Dao Desserts’ Carmen Lau will discuss franchising, licensing and scaling.

The Founder’s Table will also see founders pitch live and receive feedback from experienced operators and investor Bikesh Lakhmichand of 1337 Ventures.

Day Three will focus on exports, with Prof Dr Jeffrey Yap of the World Halalpreneur Council speaking on the USD 7 trillion halal market. Founders behind Way Sauce and WonderBrew will also share how to turn signature recipes into shelf ready products for export.

Celebrity chef and food archaeologist Chef Alan Coxon will close the session by speaking about building brands that last 40 years, not just 40 days.

Coffee lovers, this one is for you too

Within Malaysia Café Expo, the Malaysia National Coffee Championship (MNCC) will also take place.

Organised in partnership with the Malaysia Specialty Coffee Association (MSCA), MNCC celebrates Malaysia’s top baristas and coffee professionals.

It also serves as a launchpad for local coffee talent, with champions getting the chance to represent Malaysia at the World Coffee Championships.

Nas Jaafar, the 2025 Malaysian Brewers Cup Champion, made history by becoming Malaysia’s first ever World Brewers Cup Champion in 2026.

Meanwhile, Jacky Chang, the 2025 Malaysian Latte Art Champion, finished as first runner up at the 2026 World Latte Art Championship, further strengthening Malaysia’s name on the global coffee stage.

Both are set to return to the MNCC Mainstage at Hall 7, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, on 17 July at 4.30pm for an exclusive meet and greet session.

More ways to connect with buyers and partners

For those looking to make business connections, MIFB 2026 will also feature several targeted platforms.

MIFB Connect arranges scheduled, invitation only meetings between exhibitors and pre qualified buyers, helping businesses spend more time in meaningful conversations.

The MIFB Buyer Programme matches exhibitors with qualified buyers from the retail, hospitality, foodservice and distribution sectors.

Meanwhile, MIFB Launchpad gives local F&B startups a chance to pitch to industry leaders and investors, while giving buyers an early look at upcoming brands.

Taste, learn and get halal guidance

Visitors can also check out MIFB ChefTable, where professional chefs cook live using exhibitor ingredients, allowing buyers to see how a product works in a finished dish.

There will also be MIFB Talk, which features short and practical stage sessions for visitors to catch between meetings.

For businesses looking into halal certification, compliance or traceability, MIFB HalalHub, together with the Halal Development Corporation, will offer useful guidance at no cost.

Plan your visit

MIFB, MCE and MYFT 2026 are open to trade visitors and industry professionals only.
