Lee Zii Jia showed his heartwarming side in a recent viral video where he helped grab a bottle of 100PLUS after being requested, despite being stunned and surprised at first.
A video circulating on XiaoHongShu, posted by user “Mssports” yesterday (23 May), shows Lee Zii Jia’s funny and warm interaction with his fan, and has since garnered widespread admiration from netizens.
“Help me to grab the 100PLUS!”
The clip shows Lee Zii Jia after a match, speculated to be his victory against Indian player Kiran George in the Perodua Malaysia Masters round of 16, walking back to the dressing room with his shirt drenched in sweat.
Suddenly, a fan called out to him and requested a bottle of 100PLUS placed on a exhibition rack, which seems to be the sponsored drink provided for the players.
Lee Zii Jia was stunned by the peculiar request, showing a split second of confusion and inner struggle on his face.
However, the player still obliged the request, handed him the bottle of 100PLUS, and even gave him a handshake afterward.
